Basic Basic Social Media for Tourism & Creative Businesses with Bethia Thomas, 17th May

Thursday 17th May 2018
Trenderway Farm, Nr. Polperro
10am – 4pm

Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest – the list is almost endless.

Have you set up a social media account ‘because that’s what you should do’ – and have never used it since? Or, you really don’t see the point in sharing pictures of your lunch?

If you’re a little daunted by the prospect of using social media to grow your business, then this is the day for you.

Set in the beautiful and tranquil surrounds of Trenderway Farm, this is an informal and very basic introduction to the various platforms available, looking at who your target audiences are and the best ways to reach them online. The day will include a hands-on workshop with a social media professional, helping you to set up an account, publish your first posts and put together a strategic content plan for the months to come. You will leave feeling a little less bewildered, a bit more enabled and you may even want to post a picture of your lunch… which by the way is homemade and delicious and included.

Bethia Thomas ( along with the Cornwall 365 team will walk you gently through basic basic social media, including a tasty lunch to keep you fuelled – please let us know of any dietary requirements in the booking form.
