Join Cornwall 365 and Goss Consultancy to explore how to create a truly inclusive and accessible venue. Over the course of two sessions, experts from Goss Consulting will provide in-depth teaching and resources for venues of all shapes, sizes, and budgets.
The course will have two parts. You will need to commit to both parts of the training. Places are capped, so we are limiting one space per venue.

4th April. Online. 10am – 1pm.
A relevant, realistic and interactive online session. The workshop will inspire, encourage, motivate, and support you to make changes in your space and empower your team. We will cover:

Walk and Talk Accessibility Session
26th April at Trebah Garden OR 27th April at Krowji.
We will hold two walk and talk sessions, likely to be at Trebah Garden on 26th April and Krowji on 27th April, and you can choose which space best represents your venue. David Owen will lead the Walk and Talk sessions, using the venue as a space for interactive and on the spot learning.
Together we will tour the site adopting a visitor journey model, identifying ways different disabled people use the areas and the experiences they may encounter. Focusing on:
The exercise will fully incorporate intersectionality and take into consideration a whole range of impairments including physical, sensory and cognitive impairments and people with a neurodiverse profile.
The session is designed to identify opportunity, increase awareness and develop the confidence to improve access for a wide range of disabled people, positively and progressively. We will be using the framework of an Access Review for the session, and this part of the training will enable you to conduct your own at your venue.
