For the first in our new series of skills development sessions, we are inviting creative and tourism businesses to join us on The Lizard on Wednesday 13th September to learn about flora, fauna and photography with Steve Crummay and Kestle Barton.
After getting started with a cup of coffee at Kestle Barton near Helston, we will be taken on a guided walk to Frenchman’s Creek by Steve Crummay from Explore in Cornwall to learn about the rich and varied flora and fauna found in this area.
After heading back to Kestle Barton for a tasty vegetarian (and gluten free) lunch, we will learn basic photo editing skills and create our own blog or gallery content for our own websites. After the skills session there will be the opportunity to wander around Kestle Barton’s gorgeous gardens and wildflower meadows.
This skills session is free for creative and tourism businesses, individuals and organisations, but requires a refundable £10 deposit per person which will be returned to you after attending. We ask that everyone attending stays for the whole day (or until 3pm, when the skills session ends and we are free to take a look around the gardens). If you leave before the skills session is over, we won’t be able to refund your desposit. There are limited places available, so get your registration in quickly!
