Tourism and creative businesses are invited to join Cornwall 365 with National Maritime Museum and Falmouth Art Gallery for Talking About Art, a skills development session to help give you knowledge about art in general, the confidence to discuss it and also the ability to know where to send your guests or visitors.
The day is completely free, but requires a £10 deposit that we will return after you have attended the full day – which will look something like this:
We will meet at the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth at 10am for tea, coffee and a chat. After a brief introduction to the museum, we will be taken on an informal walk and tour of the British Tattoo Art Revealed exhibition with co-curators Stuart Slade and Derryth Ridge.
We will then head over to Falmouth Art Gallery for lunch, followed by a tour of their OUTspoken exhibition, followed by a Q&A session. The day will be finished by 3.30pm.
Spaces are limited to 1 per business, and this event is open to those working in tourism or creative industry only.
Please let us know of any dietry requirements by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org before Friday 27th October.
This session is part-funded by Cultivator. Cultivator is funded by the European Social Fund, the European Regional Development Fund, Arts Council England and Cornwall Council.
