New Cornwall Walking Guide

Jen and Sim Benson’s new book features 20 coastal and moorland routes around Cornwall.

Day Walks in Cornwall, a new guidebook by experienced authors Jen and Sim Benson, is now available.

Published on 11 April 2019, the guide features twenty circular routes, between 7.2 and 13.7 miles in length, for hillwalkers of all abilities.

Offering unique views of the stunning South West coastline, the walks reach areas from Bude to the Isles of Scilly and from Rame Head near Plymouth to Lizard Point on the southernmost tip, taking in tourist points such as the Chapel Porth caves, Cromwell’s Castle and St Ives Church.

Each route features beautiful photography, Ordnance Survey 1:25,000 maps, navigation information and easy-to-follow directions.

Jen and Sim Benson are the authors of guidebooks Wild Running and The Adventurer’s Guide to Britain, and the National Trust book Amazing Family Adventures. Regular contributors to a wide range of outdoor publications, they have a monthly column in Running magazine and are routes editors and gear testers for Trail Running magazine.

Day Walks in Cornwall is now available to buy from the Vertebrate Publishing website (www.v-publishing.co.uk) for a special-offer price.
