December 2018’s Ambassadors of the Month: Kate and Julian Caunce

Christmas is well on the way and this festive season we’ve got two new ambassadors of the month. Kate and Julian Caunce run a series of self-catering holiday cottages and a B&B near St Ives. They love to share their cultural experiences with guests, from enjoying outdoor adventures to visiting local arts venues. They are also passionate about local #plasticfree initiatives and are implementing their own strategies to reduce the use of plastic. Read on for an insight into their favourite places in Cornwall.

    Breakfast at Scarlets Bistro in Lelant, then a walk on the beach and coastal path, dinner at The Tinners Arms in Zennor followed by folk night.

  6. You have free tickets to the performance of your choice. Who would you take with you (living or dead)?

    Poldark.

    The Minack Theatre at Porthcurno.

    For breakfast – Scarlets Bistro in Lelant, for lunch –  Fat Apples Café and for dinner – Fore St in Mousehole.

    We are keen to support #plasticfreepenzance and have made some traditional wooden belly boards to lend to our guests rather them use polyboards and the negative impact they have on the environment.
