Cornwall Gold hosts Tolgus Stream panning Wedneday 28th October – Sunday 1st November
Tolgus Stream Panning will open this half term with some spooky new additions. Will you find a treat like fool’s gold and gems, or will your pan be full of creepy crawly tricks?

Captain Bones takes Pendennis Castle! – Mon 26 – Fri 30 Oct 2015
The fearsome pirate leader Captain Bones has seized Pendennis. Meet his band of salty sea dogs and discover stories from Pendennis’ piratical past. Follow the smugglers quest trail to find the captain’s stolen treasures.
Come along in your best Halloween fancy dress and you could be rewarded.
Throughout the day, children can take part in The Spooky Smugglers Quest and there will be Halloween crafts. Timetable is subject to change – please note that there may be loud bangs during the shows.

Royal Cornwall Museum Saturday 24th – Saturday 31st October
FREE The Big Draw: Every Drawing Tells A Story themed family days, with drawing activities centred around museum artefacts for parents and children to enjoy every day during the holiday, children’s work will then be exhibited in the museum. All ages welcome.
Tuesday 27th October
FREE sessions with artist Felicity Tattersall at 1:30 – 3:30pm giving children the chance to get up close to explorer Richard Lander’s Medicine Chest which still contains the original bottles and potions. Bring your imagination and create drawings inspired by this fearless Cornish explorer using his journals describing his 19th century expedition as inspiration. Age 8+.

Come and join us for another fabulous screen printing workshop with Kiwi Studios artist Dena O’Brien. Design and print your own Halloween Tote bags.
